We are currently accepting Expressions of Interest for casual employment opportunities in 2026 in the following areas.
Barista / Food and Beverage / Catering Assistants
The Canopy Café is open every day from 7am until 4pm and M’s Café is open from 7.30am – 11am.
About the roles:
- The general tasks are making coffee, customer service, cash handling, cleaning the cafe and storeroom, monitoring and ordering stock, and ensuring the stock room is kept tidy
- The role also requires cleaning and restocking the Boarding House Dining Hall and general cleaning duties
- Assisting with onsite school events
- Previous customer service, cash handling, coffee and hospitality experience is preferred
Library Assistant
The Eunice Centre Library provides the space and resources to support teaching and learning to secondary students. Library Assistant shifts are 3pm – 5pm (Monday – Thursday).
About the role:
- Supervising students in the library
- Closing the library
- Assisting students and staff with general enquiries, including technical assistance with TV set up where required and marking the roll as required
Boarding House Assistants
Our boarding house is home to approximately 195 boarders. This role has a strong focus on pastoral care, requiring you to support the boarders with the general routine of the boarding house and ensuring they are supervised.

Boarder Music Practice Supervision
Boarders who do private music lessons are required to sign up for a minimum of two x 30 minute practice sessions each week. Shifts are 5.15pm – 7.15pm Monday – Thursday during school term.
About the role:
- Collect the sign-up sheet from the Boarding House in advance and mark the girls off.
- Ensure the girls are practicing their music and are not distracted.
- At the end of the session, ensure the room is tidy, air conditioner is off, the room is locked up and sign-up sheet is processed. There is no need to provide musical advice
Teacher Aide
The Teacher Aide is focused on assisting with the implementation of a school-based program providing in class support to students under the direction of the class teacher and key personnel across the school, as well as performing general support and administration duties.
About the role:
- Assisting with establishing routines, expectations and support in the early years.
- Assisting to implement the learning enhancement program across primary and secondary.
- Working directly with students in class to assist in facilitating the learning for students with specific needs
- Providing general and administrative support as required
Sports Coaches
Sports at St Margaret’s include: AFL, Athletics, Badminton, Cross Country, Hockey, Lifesaving, Netball, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Swimming, Touch Football, Volleyball, Water Polo
About the role:
- To deliver coaching sessions developed by the Lead Coach which encourage students in skill and technique development.
- You will have, or be working towards, a minimum Foundation Coaching accreditation.
- Previous coaching experience and experience playing the sport is required.
- You will be required to have a current first aid and CPR certificate.

General Administration Temp
From time-to-time St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School requires administration temps to do anything from reception cover to general computer administration.
